Do not dispose of electrical and electronic equipment as unsorted municipal waste. In accordance with European Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment and its transposition into national law, used electrical equipment must be collected separately and recycled in an environmentally friendly manner. Recycling alternative to the return request: The owner of the electrical device is alternatively obliged to cooperate in the proper recycling in the event of abandonment of ownership instead of returning it. The old device can also be left at a collection point for disposal in accordance with the national recycling and waste management law. This does not apply to accessories and aids without electrical components that are included with the old devices. The product packaging consists of recyclable materials. Dispose of these in an environmentally friendly manner and recycle them.
Safety instructions for lithium batteries The lithium batteries used are lithium-manganese cells. Never open the lithium batteries, throw them into a fire or subject them to impacts, as this could cause toxic fumes to escape or pose a risk of explosion. Never touch leaked cells with bare hands. If the eyes or hands are contaminated, always rinse with plenty of water. If the skin or eyes become irritated, consult a doctor.

If there is a leaking battery in your device, you may only remove it from the device with rubber gloves and dispose of it in a closed container. In accordance with the European Directive 2013/56/EU, defective batteries must be collected separately and recycled in an environmentally friendly manner. The following options are available for disposal: – through specialist retailers; – a collection point marked with the GRS symbol; – through the hazardous waste containers provided by local authorities.
