Fire Opal is a beautiful, spiced copper shade that glows with natural, molten warmth. It is sophisticated, multidimensional and full of life. For particularly vibrant results, application to bleached hair is recommended.

The Rich Naturals series provides 100% grey coverage and contains an intensely nourishing formula that nourishes the hair after just one application.

Application
Wash hair with pH-neutral shampoo. Apply Directions sparingly to towel-dried hair with a brush or comb. Leave on for approx. 15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Repeat application for a more intense result.

It is strongly recommended that you test the colour on a strand of hair. This test is essential if you are using a silver or white toner. Do not mix Directions with peroxide. Directions does not have a specific hold time on the hair and varies depending on hair type

Directions products provide intense and long-lasting colour on bleached hair. Avoid hair care products after bleaching, as these can alter the colour. Treat the hair with White Toner or dye it twice before colouring. Using an infrared hood or hairdryer can enhance the fixing process. Wear gloves and protect your skin to avoid staining. Some shades may also stain surfaces.

Pre-application allergy test:

To avoid an allergic reaction, patch test at least 48 hours before applying the hair tint.

Follow the manufacturer's instructions for the allergy test carefully.

Avoid skin contact:

Minimise contact of hair dye with skin, especially the scalp, as much as possible. Wear gloves to avoid skin contact.

Do not get in eyes or on mucous membranes:

Avoid direct contact with eyes. In case of contact, immediately flush eyes thoroughly with water and seek medical advice.

Keep out of reach of children:

Hair dyes should be stored in a safe place to prevent accidental contact or swallowing.

Use only on healthy hair:

Do not use on damaged, irritated or sensitive hair, or on an injured scalp.

USE WARNINGS

Chemicals in hair dyes:

Many hair dyes contain ammonia, hydrogen peroxide and paraphenylenediamine (PPD). These substances can be irritating and may cause allergic reactions.

If you are allergic to these substances, you should avoid using them.

Use the product in a well-ventilated area to avoid inhaling vapours.

Do not swallow:

Hair dye is intended for external use only. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately.

Storage and shelf life:

Protect hair dye from direct sunlight and high temperatures.

Do not use after the expiry date, as the chemical composition may become unstable.

Reactions during application:

If symptoms such as burning, redness or itching occur during application, stop application immediately and rinse thoroughly with water. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.

Pregnant and breastfeeding women:

Some manufacturers advise pregnant and breastfeeding women to consult a doctor before using hair dyes.

Lightening hair dyes:

Lightening products usually contain higher concentrations of peroxide, which can irritate the scalp more. Special care is advised.

Cleaning after use:

Hair tint residue should be thoroughly removed from the skin to avoid irritation.

Hair extensions and chemically treated hair:

Hair tint can cause unwanted reactions with extensions, wigs or hair that has previously been chemically treated.
