Pre-application allergy test:

To avoid an allergic reaction, patch test at least 48 hours before applying the hair tint.

Follow the manufacturer's instructions for the allergy test carefully.

Avoid skin contact:

Minimise contact of hair dye with skin, especially the scalp, as much as possible. Wear gloves to avoid skin contact.

Do not get in eyes or on mucous membranes:

Avoid direct contact with eyes. In case of contact, immediately flush eyes thoroughly with water and seek medical advice.

Keep out of reach of children:

Hair dyes should be stored in a safe place to prevent accidental contact or swallowing.

Use only on healthy hair:

Do not use on damaged, irritated or sensitive hair, or on an injured scalp.

USE WARNINGS

Chemicals in hair dyes:

Many hair dyes contain ammonia, hydrogen peroxide and paraphenylenediamine (PPD). These substances can be irritating and may cause allergic reactions.

If you are allergic to these substances, you should avoid using them.

Ventilation during application:

Use the product in a well-ventilated area to avoid inhaling vapours.

Do not swallow:

Hair dye is intended for external use only. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately.

Storage and shelf life:

Protect hair dye from direct sunlight and high temperatures.

Do not use after the expiry date, as the chemical composition may become unstable.

Reactions during application:

If symptoms such as burning, redness or itching occur during application, stop application immediately and rinse thoroughly with water. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.

Lightening hair dyes:

Lightening products usually contain higher concentrations of peroxide, which can irritate the scalp more. Special care is advised.

Hair tint residue should be thoroughly removed from the skin to avoid irritation.

Hair extensions and chemically treated hair:

Hair tint can cause unwanted reactions with extensions, wigs or hair that has previously been chemically treated.
